Timothy V. Smoot

Timothy Vincent Smoot, born on January 25, 1958, in California, peacefully departed this life on March 24, 2025, in Clarksville, Tennessee. He was 67 years old at the time of his passing. 

Timothy was a devoted maintenance personnel who dedicated many years of his life to two Walmart locations in Clarksville. Throughout his long career, he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues, becoming not just a valued team member but also a great friend to many. Those who knew Timothy would remember him for his friendly demeanor and willingness to lend a helping hand. His contributions to the workplace were significant, and his friendship made a lasting impact on those around him.

Beyond his professional life, Timothy had a rich tapestry of interests that filled his days with joy. He enjoyed the occasional movie and, when his health allowed, found great pleasure in outdoor activities, particularly fishing. He enjoyed sharing the gospel through his outreach ministry, Footprints In The Sand, and remained a faithful member of LifePoint Church, where his spirit of fellowship shone brightly.

Timothy took immense pride in his role as a grandfather. He cherished the time spent with his grandson, Timothy Perryman, and their bond brought him countless moments of happiness. In addition to his grandson, he is survived by his brother, John Smoot (Wendy) and sister, Sharon Huey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Geraldine Smoot, son, Kristopher Perryman, and sisters Judy Thome and Michelle Haug.

Timothy's family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. Timothy's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
