Thurston Harvey

William Thurston Harvey, age 82 of Erin, TN, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Cedar Valley Church with Pastors Jacqueline Pitt Martin and Joel Nulty officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors in Harvey Cemetery.
The Harvey family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
Thurston entered this life on September 13, 1934 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Charles and Bessie Hudson Harvey. Thurston proudly served his country in United States Army and was a faithful member of Cedar Valley United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Thurston was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Harvey.
Survivors include his loving wife, Frances Clark Harvey; sons, Charles Harvey, Kevin Harvey; daughter, Kristy Lewis; brothers, J.D. Harvey, and Landon Harvey. Thurston also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Marshall Nichols, Kendell Coleman, Kendell Harvey, William Mackin, Jerry Stavely, Shane Clark, Wayne Clark, and Joel Clark.
