Thomas Waynick

Thomas Allen Waynick, 86, Indian Mound, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, at Montgomery Care & Rehab. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel with Bro. Bennie Hester and Bro. Phillip Hinton, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Wilee's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Waynick was born in Stewart Co., June 24, 1923, the son of Frank Allen and Fannie Bryant Waynick. He was a member of Dotsonville Church of Christ and retired from Civil Service. Mr. Waynick was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Fred and Glenn Waynick. He is survived by his wife, Polly Ann Darnell Waynick, two sons, Frank Allen Waynick, Woodawn, Tony Martin (Paula) Waynick, Clarksville, one step-son, Harry (Nelda) Bromley, Indian Mound, three daughters, Faye Waynick, Dover, Ann Waynick and Patty Waynick Reed-King (Gary) both of Clarksville, and one step-daughter, Anne Mann, Clarksville, brother, G. C. Waynick, Erin, sister, Myrtle Bowers, Woodlawn. Grandchildren, Emily Poole, Matthew Reed, Jennifer Reed, Rebecca Reed, Jamie Ferrell, Mike Corbin, Michelle Schneider and Jesse Waynick and Nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Matthew Reed, Jamie Ferrell, Mike Corbin, Ralph Stone, Tony Waynick, Frank Waynick and Scott Poole. Honorary Pallbearers: Terry Bowers, Wayne Bowers, Wendell Durham, Gary King, Mark Hodge, George Waynick and Jackie Waynick.
