Thomas Wadkins

Thomas L. Wadkins, 30, Clarksville, died Monday, September 27, 2010, in Clarksville. A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, October 4, 2010 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Chaplain (Major) Darren Chester officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Memorial Park, Richwood, WV with full military honors, Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the hour of service Monday, October 4, 2010 at the funeral home. Tom was born to and survived by Ralph and Rose Wadkins on October 10, 1979 in Summersville, WV. He is also survived by his wife, Tanya Lyn, and sons, Christian Clay and Austin Tyler Wadkins, brothers, John and Jeff Wadkins. The top priority in his life was his wife and children. His other accomplishments include being a SFC with the 5th Special Forces Group of the U.S. Army where he had earned numerous awards and commendations; which include the Army Special Forces Tab, Combat Infantry Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Air Assault Badge, and Parachutist Badge.
