Thomas "TJ" Skelton

Thomas James Skelton Jr. “TJ”, age 47 of Erin, TN, departed this life on Sunday, December 15th, 2024 in Erin, TN.

 A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Dennis Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Erin Community Cemetery. Following burial, family and friends will gather for food and fellowship in the fellowship hall of TJ's home church, Tennessee Ridge Baptist. 

 The Skelton family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday afternoon. 

 TJ was born on April 19, 1977, in Erin, TN, son to Thomas Skelton Sr and the late Evelyn Skelton.

 TJ graduated from Houston County High School, and attended Tennessee Ridge Baptist Church. TJ will be remembered for his vibrant spirit and his love for life. He would always be seen around town with a radio or a speaker listening to music. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

 TJ was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Skelton; maternal grandparents, Rosetta Clardy and James Terry; paternal grandparents, Ewing and Bertha Skelton; and several aunts and uncles.

 He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father, Thomas Skelton Sr; brother, Terry “Lamont” Skelton and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
