Thomas Patterson

Thomas L. Patterson, 89, Clarksville, died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Grace Health Care of Clarksville. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Chapel and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at Memorial Baptist Church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born September 29, 1919 in Montgomery County. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Grisby and Ardie Elrod Patterson; wife, Goldie Hughes Patterson; son, David Lee Patterson. Mr. Patterson was a farmer in his early and later retired from Clarksville Gas & Water Department. He was a member of Olivet Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Ray (Sylvia Paulette) Patterson, Adams; daughters, Sue Bumpus, Clarksville, Mary Ensunsa, Yuma, AZ, Vicki Homza, Clarksville; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
