Thomas Fain, 84, Southside, went to be with the Lord Saturday, September 19, 2009, at his home. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel with Bros. Ken Andrews, Mike Proctor, and Dave Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave and Larson and from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. He was born November 18, 1924 in Montgomery County, son of the late Thomas and Martha Christy Fain. He was a member of Grays Chapel Church of the Nazarene and a retired carpenter. Mr Fain was also a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. Survivors include his wife Jo Anna Weakley Fain, Southside, sons; Dean (Jennifer) Fain, Clarksville, Billy Fain,Burney (Annette)Fain, Danny (Ann)Fain, Bobby Fain, Ray (Daine)Fain, all of Southside, brothers; Louis Fain, Shilo Community, Thomas J. Fain, Southside, sisters; Eva Murphy, Cumberland Furnace, Dorothy Dowdy, Bloomington, Ind. grandchildren; Cory Fain, Thomas Fain, step grandchildren; Reece Goff, Abby Goff, Sonja Yarbrough, Mike Weakley. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Fain, Keith Fain, Terry Fain, Bill Sinks, Bren Sinks, and Tommy Castleberry.
