Thomas Brown, 69, Palmyra, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. David Mackens & Rev. James Huff officiating. Burial will be in Liverworth Church of God of Prophecy. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 2-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born December 11, 1939 in Dickson County, TN and was the son of the late, Granville P. Brown and Maggie Scott Brown. Mr. Brown was Baptist and retired from Fleeline Products. He is survived by his wife, Emma Neblett Brown, Palmyra; son, Glenn (Amy) Brown, Springfield, Jerry Eads, Cumberland Furnace; daughters, Karen (Bobby) Davidson, Clarksville, Patricia (Neil) Rye, Clarksville, Cindy Black, Clarksville, Brenda (Johnny) Ferrell, Cumberland Furance, Shirley Mayfield, Cunningham; brother, Billy (Alice) Brown, Clarksville; sister, Georgia (Horace) Perry, Clarksville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Johnson, David Johnson, Billy Joe Johnson, Jimmy Baumgarten.
