Thelma May Johnson, age 80 of Clarksville, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 22, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center.
A celebration of her life will be 1 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Tom Lynch and Bro. Steve Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Thelma was born April 22, 1937 daughter of the late, Claude Faye and Emma Catherine Travis Johnson. She was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and Draughons Business College and an Executive Secretary for Rodgers Construction Company and Chase Construction Company. She was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law James Wesley Atkins.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Mary Olean Atkins; niece Donna Kaye Brown (Randy); nephews Mark Steven Atkins (Terri) and Christopher Glenn Atkins (Shanda) and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be, Joe, Jackie, Keith and Joe Gary Travis, Jimmy Greason, Julian Johnson, Frankie Smith and Phillip Cherry. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Chad McWhorter, Charles Mangrum, Jeff Fenoseff, Randy Edgin, J.D. Burkhart, Timothy Hall, Bobby Ladd and Billy Phillips.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
