Thelma Elois Hartley, age 78 of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2015 at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home on Thursday, October 8, 2015.
Thelma was born on November 19, 1936 in Bernie, MO to the late Walter and Ora Thurston. Thelma and Jack moved to Clarksville in 1959 where they raised their family. She served 36 years as the Medical Records Supervisor at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. Throughout her career she received many awards and honors up until her retirement in 1995. She was a very caring wife and mother who loved her husband and family deeply.
Mrs. Hartley is survived by her husband, Jackie D. Hartley; son, Kevin (Gayle) Hartley; daughter, Terri (Ralph) Everett; grandchildren, Ashlee, Garrett, Trevor, and Mitchell; sisters, Melba Baker, Mary Norman, and Shirley Zimmerman; and brother, G.R. Thurston.
