Thelma Green

Thelma Dean Green, 62, Cumberland Furnace, died Thursday, October 2, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. Jerry Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Green Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Saturday and from 12 noon until the hour of service Sunday at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born August 28, 1946 in Pike County, KY and was the daughter of the late Herschel Carter and Roxie Newsome Carter. Mrs. Green was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Vanleer. Survivors include her husband, Clifford R. Green, Cumberland Furnace; son, Brad (Tracy) Green, Somerset, PA; brothers, Johnny Carter, Jonah Carter, and sister, Belva Wright, all of Pike Co., KY; grandchildren, Bradley Alan Green and Hanna Lynn Green. Deacons of Faith Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers.
