Thelma Mae Kent Goans, 85, Tennessee Ridge, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, at her residence.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ernie Arnold officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. until the service Tuesday at Nave Funeral Home.
Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 22, 1922, in Humphreys County, Tenn., daughter of the late James and Mary Box Deal. She was preceded in death by spouses Charles Kent and Earl Goans,one daughter Mary Kent Gullett, and two sons James Thomas Kent and John Edward Kent.
Survivors include one son, Charles "Bud" Kent Jr. of Erin, Tenn.; five daughters, Clara Mobley, Juanita Gray, Glenda Summers and Joann Kellett, all of Tennessee Ridge, Tenn., and Shirley Gray of Silvia, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kris Rye, Richie Kent, Steve Gray, William Summers, Tim Barnes and Jaremy Black
