Thelma Davis

Thelma B.Davis, 96, Erin, died Tuesday, April 1,2008, at Trinity Hospital. The funeral will be held at 10am Saturday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.Harriet Bryan Harris and Rev.Ken Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5pm till 8pm Friday and from 8am till service Saturday at the funeral home. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born November 29,1911 in Houston County Tn. daughter of the late Ennis and Ruth Halliburton Beard.She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Davis Jr.two brothers Dalton and Will Allen and a baby sister Lady Colene. She is survived by nephew David ( Helen) Beard of Braselton,Ga. and niece Donna Hansen of Santa Rosa,Ca. and Karen ( Greg ) Bell of Durango,Co. three great nieces Kimberly Beard, Melissa and Jessica Hansen and cousins too numeres to mention and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Tim Cleghern, Randal French, Elbert Beard, George Cox, Todd Wallace, Kendall Harvey, Mitchell Smithey, Ricky Wallace, David Beard.
