Terry Joe Smith, 50, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave and Larson Chapel, burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Terry was born on October 11, 1967, in Clarksville, TN to the late Byron Davis Smith and Nannie Stanley Steely.
Terry was employed by Kennedy Roll Off and enjoyed spending time with his family and all of his five o'clock friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-mother, Margaret S. Smith; three brothers, Wayne, Roger, and Phil Smith.
Terry is survived by his beloved partner, Shari Skaggs; children, Justin (Amy) Smith, Joby (April) Smith, January Skaggs, and Theresa (Charley) Grubbs; brothers, Stevie Smith, and Timmy Smith; grandchildren; Benton Smith, Cameron Skaggs, Layla Reynolds, Andrew Grubbs, and Samantha Grubbs, and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Corey Kennedy, Travis Kennedy, Steve Emmett, Billy Mann, Tony Pasta, and Tommy Trainer.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Lee and Gary Lee.
