Terry Harris

Terry Lynn Harris, age 64, of Erin, TN, passed away peacefully at his home while surrounded by his loving family after a courageous 11-year battle with ALS on December 20, 2021.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Garrett Milliken and Bro. Justin Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Harris family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday afternoon.
Terry entered this life on August 3, 1957 in Erin, TN, son to J.B. and Pattye Harris. Terry was a lifelong resident of Erin, was a carpenter, a mechanic and a retired machinist with TVA.
Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Jamie Harris; grandparents, Burney and Mary Harris and Douglas and Drucilla Adams.
In addition to his parents, Terry leaves behind his loving wife of 21 years, Shannon Kilgore; daughter, Paxton Harris; brother, Kenny (Shonda) Harris; nieces and nephews, Marty (Macy) Harris, Hailey Harris, Hannah (Zach) Paxton, Triton McClain and Laken McClain.
Serving as pallbearers are Terry Bruce, Victor Dillard, Jimmy Felts, Ricky Harris, Marty Harris, Kim Lewis, James Tolley, Loren Harvey and Jim Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Harris and Willie Williams.
