Tammy was preceded in death by her father and her son Ronald Scherer.
She leaves behind her husband Warren Scherer; fiancé, David Flategraff; mother Carolyn Massie; son Jonathan Scherer (Tracy Hamilton); daughter Sherry Scherer (John Beddingfield), and her grandchildren Tiffany Scherer, Mercedes Scherer and Hunter McIalwain.She also leaves behind one great grandson, Dillyn Kight.
The family is planning a private service at a later date.
