Susan Young

Susan Kay Young, age 65 of Clarksville passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Skyline Medical Center.
Celebration of Life will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Ronny Raines officiating. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. and again on Friday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Susan entered this life on January 19, 1956, in Union City, TN to the late Joe and Joan Baker Henry. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a graduate of Austin Peay State University with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Susan was a pediatric nurse at Clarksville Memorial Hospital and a fitness instructor for Clarksville Athletic Club.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Amber Young.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Randy Young; children, Michael Young, Matthew (Brent) Young, and Cala (Chase) Cox; grandchildren, Marley and Marjorie; brother, Tom (Laura) Henry; brother- in-law, Michael (Sherry) Young; sister-in-law, Linda (Donald) Harris. Susan also leaves behind her beloved maltese, Jack.
Serving as pallbearers are Pat Powers, Michael R. Young, Chase Cox, Wesley Bryant, Brent Meredith, and John Young.
