Susan Ann Smith Lambert Lee, age 79, of Southside, TN passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2024 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Dr. Ted Denny officiating.

Burial will follow at Miller’s Chapel Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Susan entered this life on June 19, 1944, in Nashville, Tn to the late Gilbert and Hester Garrett Smith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Wilburn Wayne Lambert, and sister, Bertha Ann Bates.

Susan was a member of Millers Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and was recently attending Bethel Baptist Church. Her commitment to her faith was unwavering, and she will be remembered for the kindness and compassion she showed to all who knew her. In addition to her work at the church, Susan had a successful career as a Group Leader for Jostens, where she played a vital role in helping produce cherished yearbooks that captured precious memories for countless individuals.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Lee; son, Jeremiah D. Lambert (Amy); daughters, Melinda Sue Bender (Bill), Lisa D. Young (Rob), Donna G. White (Steve), Annette Cottrell (Terry), and Crystal D. McGee (RJ); siblings, Clyde H. Smith, Betty (Bill) Baker, and Peggy (Dallas) Runner, 16 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Bender, Eddie Bender, Wayne Bender, Chase Stanfill, Tim Groves, and Hunter McGee. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher McWhorter, Dylan Stanfill, and Brandon Generazio.
