Sue Lannom, 58, Cunningham, went home to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday, November 7, 2011.
A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, November 10, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Dr. Ted Denny and Bro. Brian Hanvey officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Sue was born December 25, 1952 in Quantico, VA and was the daughter of J.M. and Helen Bryant Martin. She was preceded in death by her father, and her brother, David Wayne Martin. She was formerly employed by Acme Boot and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Other than her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Kenny Lannom; daughter, Angela (Jerry Lee) Martin, Cunningham; son, David (Mary Ellen) Lannom, Cunningham; sister, Janie (David) Nicholson, Cunningham; five grandchildren, Austin and Jenna Martin, Sara, Josh and Jonah Lannom; two step-grandchildren, Kaleigh and Coen Shay; sister-in-law, Judy (Dave) Horton; brother-in-law, Steve (Karen) Lannom; step-brother-in-law, Dwayne (Debbie) Byard; five nephews and three nieces.
Pallbearers will be Chris Stone, Danny Stone, Jeff Akin, Mike Ratliff, Nelson Kennedy, Phillip Hooper, Rick Hamilton and Scott Russell.
