Steven I. Shaw

Steven I. Shaw, born on May 11, 1977, in Norfolk, Virginia, passed away at the untimely age of 47, on October 9, 2024. He leaves behind a cherished legacy of dedication, compassion, and a vibrant personality that touched many lives.

Steven's career was marked by his work with prestigious companies such as Microsoft, where he specialized in software integration for university campuses across the United States. His ability to embrace challenges and foster collaboration made him a respected figure in his field. Additionally, he served as a "Coach" for Nike, where he was instrumental in attracting talent and equipping his colleagues with the tools and training necessary to excel in their careers. Through his professional endeavors, Steven demonstrated a profound commitment to encouraging and motivating people, characteristics that endeared him to friends and colleagues alike.

Educated with a Bachelor's degree earned from Western Kentucky University "Go Hilltoppers", Steven pursued knowledge with the same passion he applied to all aspects of his life. His interests were as diverse as his career, encompassing gaming, collecting Marvel figurines, and being an enthusiastic R/C car aficionado. Steven also had a deep appreciation for the arts and the culinary world. One of his favorite pastimes was experimenting in the kitchen, where he delighted in creating new dishes and recreating those he had enjoyed during his travels.

Steven is survived by his beloved parents, Steven and Sharon Shaw, along with a host of extended family and close friends who will remember him for his warmth, spirit, and zest for life. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Shaw, whose memory he cherished deeply.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, the 26th of October 2024 at Faith Outreach Church North, located at 1235 Northfield Dr., Clarksville, Tennessee. Pastor William Luffman will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the hour of service Saturday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
