Steve Mobley

Steven Eugene Mobley 65 of Erin TN, passed away Thursday July 7, 2016 at St. Thomas Hospital. He was born June 3, 1951 in Montgomery County TN, son of the late Jimmy Mobley and Henrietta Wright Henshaw. He was recently retired from Mitchum Hardware. Steve enjoyed farming, carpentry, and spending time with family. A celebration of his life will be held at 4:30 pm Sunday with visitation starting at 1:30 pm until service time at Erin Church of the Nazarene, Bro. Daniel Medders will be officiating. Burial will be held immediately following at McIntosh Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Judi Mitchell Mobley, mother Henrietta Wright Henshaw, son Jason Mobley, daughters Tara Baldwin, Deanna Lax, sisters Mary Ann Mitchell, Pam Moore, Cindy Melton, and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Ashley Mitchell, Brad Mitchell, Landon Moore, Lance Moore, Vince Moore, Danny Moore, Dan Rouse, and Terry Bruce. Honorary pallbearers will be John Nichols and Donald Bateman. The family requests any charitable donations made in honor of Steve be made to the Gideon’s International or Disabled Veterans.
