Stephen Akins

Stephen Foster Akins, Sr. age 80 of Clarksville, TN passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022.
Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson with Rev. Gary Akins officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Stephen entered this life on March 2, 1942 in Cunningham, TN to the late William and Delma Akins. He was retired from Trane Company and attended Christ Fellowship, and First Assembly of God churches. He spent his lifetime sharing his gift of music. He loved the outdoors, farming and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Norma (Cooki) Brorsen Akins; daughter, Delma Marie Akins; brothers, Bill Akins, and Allen Akins, and sister, Betty Russell.
Survivors include his son, Stephen Akins, Jr (Nyra), and sisters, Margie Hayes and Norma Hayes.
