Stanley Denton

Stanley Gordon Denton, Jr, age 54, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his home in Southside.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2021 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Don Helton officiating. He will be laid to rest at Rye's Chapel Cemetery.

Stanley's family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday.

Stanley entered into this life on March 15, 1966 in Montgomery County to the late Stanley G. Denton, Sr. and Patricia Mead Denton. Stanley had worked a 30 year career as a manager in food service at Shoney's, and had formerly worked at Clarksville Academy and Hot Pita. He was a member of Clarksville Church of Christ. God, family, friends, and the Dallas Cowboys were especially important to Stanley.

Survivors include his brothers, Jeffery (Sumalee) Denton, Mike Blake, and Richard Blake; dear friends, Karen Dirksen, Farid Rostampour, Bob Harrell, and Lena Harrell.
