SSG (Ret) Earl "Moon" Mullins

SSG (Ret) Earl G. "Moon" Mullins, Sr., age 78, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2013 at his home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Howard Johnson and Bro. Kenny Barbour officiating. Burial with full Air Force Honors will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Earl entered this life on February 13, 1935 in Adams, Tennessee, son of Preston and Numer Heflin Mullins. Earl retired from a 20 year career with the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. Following his service to country he worked for and again retired from the Trane Company. Earl was a church member of the New Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Barbara Yarbrough Mullins of Clarksville; his son, Earl Mullins, Jr. and wife Judy of Clarksville; and siblings James Ray Mullins of Arizona and Eva Dean Harp of Clarksville. He was the proud grandfather of Jenifer Coffman, Josh Mullins, and Candi Mullins and great grandfather to Macy, Devin, Ethan, Chloe, Noah, and Joseph.
