SSG Ralph L. Dudley, age 42 of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Chaplain Major Thomas E. Gidley.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Full Military Honors will be rendered to SSG Dudley at his final resting place in Texas.
Ralph was born on April 20, 1972, the son of the late Kathryn “Linda” Williams. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sister, Kathryn “Dani” Dudley. He was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was a prior Marine and a Christian who was a part of the WTB-Warrior Transition Battalion. Through his military career, he was a recipient of the following awards commendations, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal with 1 Bronze Knot; Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with 1 Bronze Star, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Navy Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with 1 Bronze Star, and the Nato Medal (ISAF).
He is survived by his wife JoAnn Goodman Dudley; sons, Adian Dudley, Austin Dudley, and Andrew Dudley; daughters, Alexandrea Goodman and Amber Dudley; brother, Joseph Williams; sister, DeAun Nelson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fisher House, the Operation Home Front, Yellow Ribbon Foundation, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
