SSG Gabriel A. Ramirez

SSG Gabriel A. Ramirez, age 34, died on Sunday, April 4, 2021.
Gabe was born on October 20, 1986 in Riverside, California. Following high school, Gabe entered into active duty service with the US Army and at the time of his passing was in the 11th year of his military career. Currently, SSG Ramirez was stationed at Fort Campbell and was assigned to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment "Night Stalkers". He was an Ammunitions Specialist. In addition to being a model soldier, Gabe was a loving husband, father, son, and brother and will be sorely missed.
Survivors include his wife, Karolyn Ramirez; sons, Daniel and Ryan; mother, Christine Rivera and stepfather, Ray Rivera; father, Rick Brusca; siblings, Raymond, Isabella, Daniella, and Eli; and grandparents, Manuel Ramirez and Beverly Brusca; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ruth Ramirez and Rick Brusca.
In keeping with Gabe's wishes, his remains will be cremated. A Celebration of Life with US Army Honors will be held at a later date in his hometown of San Diego, California. Condolences may be made to his family at NaveFuneralHomes.com.
