Spc. Priscilla East

Spc. Priscilla Ann East, age 32, tragically departed this life on Thursday, February 2, 2017.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. Priscilla will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
Spc. East, from Missouri City, Texas, joined the Army in March 2011 and arrived at Fort Campbell in August 2014. Her awards and decorations include the Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon. She attended the Protection of the Holy Virgin Mary Mission, Clarksville, and prior to her enlistment in the Army worked as a Registered Vet Tech.
Mourning her loss are her loving parents, Mark and Ocie Gibson Whitaker, her son Nikolaus Kaleb Demar, and her siblings, Christine Fordtran, Martin Whitaker, and John Whitaker.
In lieu of flowers, Priscilla's family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence at www.ncadv.org or to any women's safe house of your choosing.
