Spc. William Justin Foster McClellan, 22, Clarksville, died Thursday, November 6, 2008, at Walter Reed Army Medical Hospital due to combat injuries sustained in Iraq. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Chaplain Lt. Col. James Odell officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. He was born October 20, 1986 in New Castle, Indiana, son of Arthur McClellan, Jr. and Lisa Foster McClellan. He was a Christian, a 3rd degree Brown belt in Karate and a recepient of the Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Combat Infantry Badge. His pending post humouse medals include the Bronze Star and a second Army Commendation Medal. In addition to his parents of Indianapolis, Indiana, he is survived by his wife Heather Robinson McClellan of Clarksville, brothers Arthur McClellan, Gregory McClellan, Trevor McClellan, Donald Schmitz, and sister Tonya Schmitz, all of Indianapolis, maternal grandparents Charles Foster III and Vinda Foster of Indianapolis, and maternal great-grandparents Charles Foster II and Barbara Foster of Attica, Indiana.
