SPC Joey D. Jones II

SPC Joey David "Boomer" Jones, II, age 20 of White County, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident.

SPC Jones was born January 6, 1993 in McMinnville to Joey David Jones Sr. & Elsie Louise Bowdoin Jones. He was a 2012 graduate of White Co. High School and joined the Army National Guard September 2011 and was a member of North Sparta Church of God. He is preceded in death by grandfather J.C. Deskin Bowdoin and grandmother Alice Rosita Ochoa Jones. He donated all his organs so other people could live. He still lives on through those people that he gave life to.

He is survived by his parents Retired SSG Joey David Jones, Sr. and Elsie Louise Jones

Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, August 3, 2013 at North Sparta Church of God with burial in Shockley Cemetery in Van Buren County with full military honors by the Tn National Guard. The family will receive friends after 6:00pm Friday at the church. Brother Steve Gerheart will officiate.

The Tennessee Army National Guard will serve as pallbearers
