Shirley Thompson

Shirley Steed Thompson, 95 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017 at Walking Horse Meadows.
A celebration of her life will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Byron Dumas officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until hour of service.
Shirley was born August 22, 1921, in Humboldt, TN daughter of the late Herbert Lee and Jessie Atkinson Steed. She was preceded in death by her husband SGT Major (Ret.) Clifford Archie Thompson and son, Barry S. Thompson.
Survivors include her daughters, Jackie (Marvin) Williams and Sherry (Joe) Nalley; daughter-in-law, Olga Thompson; grandchildren, Pat Williams, Chris Williams, Eric Nalley, Amanda Nalley, and Brandon Thompson; great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn & Jack.
