Shirley Mitchell

Shirley Frances Mitchell, age 74 of Erin, TN, passed away on January 20, 2016 at Palmyra Nursing Home.
A celebration of her life will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Brothers William Gray, LC Hollingsworth, and Daniel Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Lowery Cemetery.
The Mitchell family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Shirley entered this life on August 21, 1941 in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late David and Addie Alsobrooks Rye. Shirley was a lifelong resident of Houston County, TN and was a member of Mt Sinai Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Mitchell, sons, Jonathan Mitchell (Lori), David Mitchell, Ray Mitchell; brother, Gene Rye; sister, Evelyne Parchman; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stacy Manners, Mike Manners, Kevin Manners, Josh Mitchell, Scott Webb, Wesley Mitchell, James Hatcher, and Paul Rye.
