Shirley Juanita Braxton, age 80, of Henry County Tn., passed away May 10, 2017.
A Graveside Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Foundry Hill Cemetery, Puryear, TN with the Rev. Kenneth Humphreys officiating.
Shirley was born on April 26, 1937 in Henry Co., daughter of the late Henry Puckett and Kathryn Love Puckett.
She attended First Assembly of God in Clarksville, ran for Mayor of City of Clarksville in the last Mayoral Election, she was a former CNA, hairstylist and owner of her hair salon.
Survivors include; sons, Byron Braxton, Louis Braxton Jr.; daughter, Dr. Avra J. Johnson and her husband William Johnson, Jr.; grandson, Lawrence Johnson; brothers, James Puckett, Henry Puckett; sisters, Cynda Puckett, Aida Puckett, Lillian Williams.
