Shelley Griffy

Shelley Wilson Griffy, 68, Clarksville, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Wilee's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home. He was born February 16, 1941 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by his parents, Shelley and Eunice Darnell Griffy; and his son, Randy Lee Griffy. Mr. Griffy was a farmer, electrician and a Methodist. Survivors include his wife, Mary Holder Griffy, Clarksville; son, Roy Griffy, Clarksville; grandson, Roy Wilson Griffy; great-grandson, Kenneth Griffy. Pallbearers will be Roy Wilson Griffy, John Dennis, Hubert Lee Griffy, Doris Griffy, Jimmy Shepherd and Ledbetter Shepherd.
