SFC (Ret) Carl Everett Matthews, 61 of Clarksville passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019.
Mr. Matthews was born on June 15, 1958 in Sledge, Miss., son of the late John Matthew and Gladys McCarver Matthews. He was retired for the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents Mr. Matthews was preceded in death by; sister, Rebecca Ann Crow.
Survivors include his wife, Sherrie Elliott Matthews; son, David Allen (Stephanie) Braungart; daughter, Tammi Lynn Braungart; grandchildren, Amber Braungart, Joseph Braungart, Destiny Reed, Jeremy Braungart, Justin Braungart, Hannah Braungart, and Shawn Braungart; siblings, Peggy Ruynon, Beverley Jewell Beglau, Regina Lorton, Mary Abrahsom, John Richard Matthews Jr. and Sara Lea Matthews.
