First Sgt. (Ret) Robert Delton Garrett, age 84 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Grace Healthcare.
A graveside service with full Military Honors will be held 1 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Bro. Shaun Trescott officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel.
Robert was born January 7, 1931 in Monticello, MS, son of the late John and Mary Garrett. He was retired from the US Army having served in the Korean Conflict. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Exemplary Medal (Korea), National Defense Service Medal with 1st Oak Leaf Cluster.
He is survived by his wife, Stella Pearl Noel Garrett; son, Phillip R. (Debbie) Butler; 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Butler, Corky Ward, Dustin Butler, Scott Shearon, Conner Ward and Chace Ward.
