Sergeant First Class, William Lee Ross, 39, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016, after fighting a long battle with cancer.
William was born July 24, 1977, to Charles Ross and Teresa Moore in Ventura, California. Growing up and attending schools locally before joining the United States Army in 1997. Being a Soldier became his career, having served his country for the last nineteen and a half years.
During his off time William would relish in the time he spent at home with his loving family, showing his knack for creativity while he was drawing, or relaxing while enjoying a good video game session.
He is survived by his loving wife of eighteen years, Rexann Ross; daughters, Julia and Jessica Ross; parents, Charles Ross, and Teresa Moore; sisters, Lori, Dawn, Jennifer, and Kali; brother, Stan; numerous other family including his grandmother, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held in William's honor on Saturday, November 19, 2016, 10:00 A.M., at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura, California, 93003. With the full Military Honors being presented and given by the United States Army.
