SFC (Ret) Kelly Clayton Stephens, 70, Clarksville, died Friday, February 18, 2011, at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, Murfreesboro. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Matthew Brown officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Stephens was born March 18, 1940 in Revelo, KY and was the son of the late Prince L. and Nancy Tavy Richards Stephens. He was retired from the U.S. Army and served two tours in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife, Regina Elizabeth Loewenburg Stephens, Clarksville; son, Michael (Dawn) Stephens, Clarksville; grandchildren, Michael (Ashley) Stephens, Kalamazoo, MI, Wayne Moorefield, Springfield, TN; three brothers and seven sisters.
