SFC (Ret) Sherry Woods

SFC (Ret) Sherry Ellen Woods, 49, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at her home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Chaplain Phillip Sigmon officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Higginsville.
Sherry was born January 25, 1963 in San Mateo, California, daughter of Lester Lee Moon and Zelma Sidebottom Moon. She was a 22 year veteran of the US Army. Sherry honorably served her country in Operation Desert Storm. She was the recipient of numerous Achievement and Good Conduct Medals. Sherry enjoyed scrapbooking, family photography, home improvement projects, and most of all, spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother and father survivors include her loving children, Catrinia S. Jones, Jonnathon Hall, and Tisha N. Woods; her siblings, Frank, Connie, Terry, Lisa, and Vickie; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn.
