SFC (Ret) James McNeil

SFC (Retired) James “Jim” Felton McNeil, age 75 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with Patrick Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Marion United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday and from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Jim was born on February 10, 1939 in Alabama, the son of David Archie McNeil and Emma Irene Hilliard Lasater. He retired after 23 years in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant First Class and worked at Jackson Oil Company. He was a member of the Church of Christ. James was the most perfect, loving husband and father, and a great friend to all.
He is preceded in death by his father, David Archie McNeil; mother, Emma Irene Hilliard Lasater and step-father, Marshall Edward Lasater.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Shepherd McNeil; son, David Christopher McNeil; daughter, Tamara Nicole McNeil; sister, Linda (Herbert) Ledford; niece, Melanie Ledford.
Family and Friends will serve as Pallbearers.
