SFC (Ret) James Maxey

James Leroy Maxey, age 70, of Clarksville passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Didion officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. and again Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
James entered into this life on May 9, 1950 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Herbert and Doris Maxey. He retired as SFC from the United States Army and was a Veteran of Vietnam. He also retired from the State of TN as a Probation and Parole Officer. James enjoyed electronics, computers, and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Allen.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mi Suk Maxey; daughter, Doris Chang Vang, and her husband, Yia; sisters, Carol, Karen, and Janet, and brother, Herbie.
