SFC (Ret) Edward Baltimore

Edward E. Baltimore, age 87, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at his home while surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Lott officiating. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Full Army Honors will be rendered.
The Baltimore family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Edward entered into this life on October 10, 1929 in Manchester, Tennessee to the late William and Sally Wooten Baltimore. He was retired from a 20 year career with the US Army and his most notable commendations were the Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Following his military service, Edward worked for and subsequently retired from Civil Service after 18 years. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his loving wife, Elise Baltimore; children, Petra Thorseth (John), Cathy Amabile (Joe), Joe Baltimore (Karen); grandchildren, Christina DiCicco (Nick), Joseph Amabile, Joshua Christoffers (Jackie), Charles Amabile (Jasmyn), Trinity Amabile, and Rachel Baltimore; great grandchildren, Tristan DiCicco, Giovanni DiCicco, Markus Christoffers, and Charlotte Amabile; and his nephew, John Baltimore (Lisa).
