SFC (Ret.) Allen Kovash

SFC (Ret.) Allen Wayne Kovash, age 74, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full Army honors. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, and again from 10 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Allen entered into this life on January 1, 1948, in Dickinson, ND, to the late Bruno and Blanche Kovash. Allen joined the U.S. Army which he later retired from after achieving the rank of sergeant first class afterward he graduated from Austin Peay State University. He went on to retire from the State of Tennessee where he oversaw veteran cemeteries across the state.

Survivors include his loving wife, Charlene “Charlie” Kovash; sons, Terry Rowland, Kevin (Michelle) Kovash; grandchildren, Ava and Peyton; brothers, Curt Kovash, Mike Kovash, and Doug Kovash.
