Sfc Ramsey

SFC (Ret.) Raymond H. Ramsey, 79, Clarksville, TN, died Wednesday , September 22, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Daniel Ramsey and Rev. Louie Montoya officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, with full military honors. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. till 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Ramsey was born January 29, 1931 in Dawson Springs, KY, son of the late W.H. and Opal Wiley Ramsey. He was retired from the US Army and Civil Service. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Mr. Ramsey is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Carver Ramsey of Clarksville; daughters, Starr Ramsey of Cunningham, Ramona (Glen) Reece and son, Daniel (Michelle) Ramsey both of Clarksville. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Assembly of God Church.
