SFC George Cox Army (Ret)

SFC George William Cox (ret), age 82 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Centennial Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with full military honors.
The Cox family will receive friends on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with graveside services to follow.
George entered this life on September 23, 1936 in Salem, NJ, son to the late William and Sarah Keely Cox. George proudly served his country in the United States Army and after retirement, was employed by TVA.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy Jo Cox; daughters, Sharon Wilson, Susan Ashworth, Janet Wallace; son, Howard Cox; ten grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Daniel Barnes, Justin Barnes, Dave Daw, Noah Black, Bryant Wilson, Ricky Todd Wallace.
