Scott Allen Flitsch, age 58, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at the VFW Post 11160, 1068 Lafayette Rd., Clarksville, TN 37042. All friends are welcome to attend.
Scott entered into this life on April 24, 1960 in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, son of Eugene and Carol Flistch. He was a 19 year veteran of the US Army where he served as an Aviation Mechanic. Also, Scott had proudly served his country in Operation Desert Storm. He was a member of both the VFW and AMVETS.
Scott had a "bigger than life" personality and never passed an opportunity to make people laugh or smile. He loved riding his bike and shooting his guns. Locally, everyone knew him as "Santa Claus" for his big personality and equally big beard, and as "Limo Scott", as he would give sober rides for free. In Wisconsin, where he was born and raised, he was known as "Scooter" by all his friends.
In addition to his mother, Carol Flitsch, he is survived by his former wife and mother of his children, Cindy Marienthal; children, Jeramiha, Joshua, and Ashley Flitsch; siblings, Mark, Wendy, Jackie, Suzie, and Linda; and his best friend, David Knodl and his wife Deborah. Scott was the loving grandfather of Connor, Arianna, Skylar, Kayda, Ahbriel, Bristol, Dasean, and Makaya.
