Sarina Elizabeth Coleman Oster, 52, passed away at HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, Ocala, Florida on November 9, 2023. Sarina was born at the family home in Erin, Tennessee on June 16, 1971. She was a graduate of Lipscomb University, receiving a Masters in Accountancy degree. She obtained both Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor credentials. Sarina worked for the State of Tennessee until she resigned to attend her ailing husband, Frank.
Sarina was preceded in death by beloved husband, Frank Oster. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Constance Coleman Gebhardt and Roy Coleman; stepfather, Russell Gebhardt; and brother, Terry Coleman.
Sarina leaves behind a slew of family and friends who loved her, including: a daughter, Rachel Tefft (Cody) Shontz; stepdaughter, Chris (Bo) Sneed; grandchildren, Clair Shontz, Connor Shontz, and Gunnar Sneed; life partner, Tom Carter; sisters, Pamela (Donnie) Lowery, Judy Dixon and Sandra Crockett; and brother, Tracy Coleman; nieces, Amanda Dixon, Katlin Crockett, Paige Crockett, and Madison Black; nephews, Michael (Brandy) Lowery, W.L. Dixon and Anthony Coleman; and best friend, Shanna Hollis Rye.
A Memorial visitation will be Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 201 Knight Street, Erin, Tennessee with Funeral by Pastor Dwight Thomas beginning at 3 PM. A private Inurnment next to her husband, Frank, will follow at a later date at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
