Sarah (Sally) Hamilton

Sarah (Sally) Gilbert Hamilton, 79, Clarksville, departed this life on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Spring Meadows Nursing Home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Hanley officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Sally was born February 7, 1933 in Clarksville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Baxter Gilbert and Elizabeth Crow Gilbert, and the father of her children, Pat Hamilton. She was retired from the Montgomery County Election Commission and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarksville.
Sally is survived by her loving children, John (Jack) Hamilton of Nashville, Pat Hamilton of Clarksville, and Neil Hamilton of Nashville; her brother, Tommy Gilbert of Clarksville; and her sister, Betty Woolcott of Richmond, Virginia.
