Sara Evans

Sara Bell Evans, age 77 of Indian Mound, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022, at her residence.
A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Sara entered this life on September 11, 1944, in Pascagoula, Mississippi to the late Orville and Jessie Jobe. She grew up the third born of thirteen siblings. In her adult life, Sara was a homemaker, devoted Navy wife, and a loving mother. Sara spent her years volunteering for different organizations; to include Helping Hands and Good Samaritan.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, USN (Ret) Robert Evans; children, Richard Evans, and Christina Carmona, and numerous siblings.
Survivors include her children, Angela Evans and Jim Evans; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous siblings.
