Sandra Leighty

Sandra Lovelle Leighty, 64, Indian Mound, died Sunday, February 15, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Chap. Ward Carver officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born November 20, 1944 in Nashville, TN and was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Ben Mangrum Sr. and Lovelle Masters Brown; brother, Joe Ben Mangrum Jr.; brother-in-law, Gary Anderson. Mrs. Leighty was a homemaker and a member of Academy of Friendship, Women of the Moose. Survivors include her husband, Jacob Dale (Jake) Leighty Jr., Indian Mound; sons, Jacob Dale (Inge) Leighty III, Indian Mound, James Edward Leighty, Louisville, KY; sisters, Linda Anderson, Castilla Springs, TN; Barbara Mangrum, Lebanon, TN; Debbie Amerine, Old Hickory, TN; special friends, Lou & Mary Maddox, Indian Mound, Butch & Anna Shelby, Harold & Shirley Mullins, Jerry & LaVerne Hodges, all of Clarksville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
