Samuel Votta, 74, Clarksville, died Friday, July 17, 2009, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 12 noon Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Michael Baltrus officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. Friday at McReynolds-Nave-Larson Funeral Home. He was born July 4, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Carmella Votta and his wife, Eva Elizabeth Kempf Votta. Member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Church, Pompano Beach, FL, Sons of Italy, St. Judes Children's Hosptial. Mr. Votta enjoyed, Deep Sea Fishing, Fresh Water fishing, Baseball, Football, Boxing and he was a Golden Glove Boxer. Survivors include his son, Charles Votta, Pompao Beach, FL; three daughters, Elizabeth Hampton, Clarksville; Patricia Votta, Tamarac, FL; and Ann Marie Grogan, Logan, Ohio; grandchildren, Brad McCreery, Shawn (Jennifer)Hampton, Ryan Hampton, Kristen Glossup, Sara (Eric) Gerard, Katie (Jason) Claudio, Kally Grogoan, Kaylyn Grogan and Sean Grogan; great-grandchildren, Samatha, Kaleb, Malayna, Travis, Olivia and Brian.
